Education
Education can take place at any age, with a variety of purposes. People with disabilities have the right to an equal education in the most integrated possible settings, to prepare them for independence, self-reliance, maturity, and productivity.
At NCCI, we can help people with disabilities of any age set and work towards an educational goal. We can also work with families to ensure that their children with disabilities have the full opportunity to get a free, appropriate public education in the most integrated possible settings.
Special Education programs, procedures, and regulations are designed to help provide children with disabilities full access to a free, appropriate public education that prepares them for independent and productive lives, in the most integrated settings that fit their individual needs. I can be a struggle for families to ensure that their childrens' programs are right for them, and will give them the best chance to reach their potential. NCCI offers a variety of training programs designed to help families participate fully and effectively in the Special Education process.
