Welcome to our web site. Here you will find information on our mission and services, our staff and Board of Directors, events, and action alerts on disability issues in the North Country and beyond.

Independent Living is all about people with disabilities making informed choices about where and how they want to live, and becoming full, equal, productive and happy members of their communities. An Independent Living Center is a place where people with disabilities, their families and friends can learn more about how to adapt to and live with disabilities, how to obtain the services and support they need, and work together to make their communities better places to live, learn, and work.
